Juno, Goddess Queen
In Ancient Roman Mythology, the Goddess Juno was married to Jupiter, King of the Gods, and was the patronness of marriage and family.
One of her associated symbols was the peacock, and the month of June is named after her.
According to the beliefs of the day, to marry under her protection was to ensure lasting marital happiness and peace.

An Apache Blessing
"Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be a shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness, for each of you will be a comfort to the other.
Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place, to enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth."
